Yeah, giving up on this game. Might spend the weekend that it’d take to grind out the victory? Probably not.

Scribblenauts Unlimited

Time Played: 2.5 hours

You know when sometimes you just need a simple, whimsical game that’s sweet and endearing and also lets you summon a furry, friendly Cthulhu to be a pet?

Yeah, this game. This is just such a good, sweet, fun game. The challenge is in how ridiculous I can make my solutions, how silly I can be before the game stops responding. Much like NetHack’s refrain of “the developers thought of everything”, Scribblenauts comes pretty close.

I’d watched videos of this, but this was the first time I’d played it. Fun, silly, fun, difficult, watching speedrunners for those videos was probably a bad idea for I am very clearly not a speedrunner and trying speedrunner techniques… didn’t work out so well.

I’ll probably go back to this, but it’s likely more a silly occasional thing for me.
